Project Overview

The Waveney House Hotel is an historical building situated on the bank of the River Waveney in Beccles, offering luxury, a fully licensed restaurant/bar and a highly sought-after venue for weddings.

The owner of the hotel felt that their online presence was in need of an upgrade, and I was approached to bring their website up-to-date by modernising their CMS and redesigning the look and feel of the site to give them a cleaner, more prestigious appearance that better represented their business.

Project Notes

The website was built using WordPress, and adopted a fully responsive layout that caters well for visitors, whether they're using a desktop, tablet or mobile device.
The home page was entirely restructured to focus on their key points of business; the accommodation, the restaurant and the wedding venues. Each section was accompanied by an attractive parallax background image that gave the page depth and complemented the layout.
