Project Overview
Keable & Flowers Ltd. run a group of restaurants on the Suffolk coast, with one of the more popular ones being Giardino, an Italian restaurant situated in Sparrow's Nest, Lowestoft.
I was tasked in updating their menu, to give it a refreshed look and to include a host of new dishes that they would be introducing to their restaurant.
The new menu needed to look modern and contemporary whilst retaining a rustic feel that would give a nod towards the origins of their Italian recipes. Much like the restaurant itself, it needed to give a little taste of Italy in Lowestoft.

The menu utilised a four column layout, set inside a border decorated with illustrations of various Italian ingredients and vegetables, this achieved the 'rustic' feel that the client desired.
The layout was kept relatively clean, making best use of white space. This, coupled with the contemporary font set kept the information clear and easy to read. Coloured inset boxes were also used to highlight their specials.
