Project Overview
Barsham Securities are a commercial and residential property investment and development company based in Beccles, Suffolk.
The primary purpose of their website was to give an overview of the company and display a portfolio of their properties to potential business partners and investors. However, their site was quite outdated and the client felt that it didn't accurately represent Barsham or show their properties in the best light. I was tasked in modernising the site, bringing it in line with their values and giving them an online presence to be proud of.

The homepage makes use of a full-screen parallax slider that showcases a prime selection of Barsham Securities properties and gives immediate impact to visitors on arrival. The main navigation menu is situated underneath, prompting the user to scroll and visit other pages on the site.
At the core of the website is the property portfolio. This system was rebuilt for the new website and categorised each property type for easy navigation. Each property was given it's own page that provided more details and images should the user want to view more.
The backend of the site was kept simple for client management. I made use of a 'drag-and-drop' builder to create the page structure and tutored the client on its workings so they could make updates themselves easily.
